Accredited Practising Dietitian Position Description

RENUMERATION

• 8 hours per week or less – 50% of Billings + 100% km travelled for NDIS clients ($0.85 per km)
• 8-32 hours per week or less – 55% of Billings + 100% km travelled for NDIS clients ($0.85 per km)
• 32+ – 60% of Billings+ 100% km travelled for NDIS clients ($0.85 per km)

WHAT YOU CAN OFFER US

• The desire to be a foundational part of building a supportive team of health professionals building a family-oriented, inclusive practice in Toowoomba.
• An interest in working with clients with gut concerns, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Eating Disorders, physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, malnutrition, mental illnesses and complex family/living situations.
• Experience in these areas required.
• A commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Immediate start is available for those who meet the following criteria:

• Tertiary degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
• Queensland disability worker screening clearance and blue card or exemptions card
• Drivers licence and car for home visits
• External Clinical Supervisor with external discipline-specific experienced supervisor (frequency according to your needs, typically monthly)
• Setup with internet and webcam for telehealth that meets Privacy Laws
• Dietitians Australia membership
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician preferred but not required.
